Equipment Snowkite

Unlike kitesurf, snowkite is relatively more simple but at the same time a little tougher. Regarding the equipment, it`s the same with the one used on water but with a slight difference, the board. On snow you can choose from a variety of boards depending on the surface where you want to practice. You can slide very well on skis, ice skates and also on the traditional snowboard which has to be of medium size for a better ride. The kites used can be the ones used on water but also the foil kites which are especially designed for land. Snowkite can be successfully practiced with all kinds of kites as long as the relation between the wind intensity and the kite size is respected, along with all the safety and protection rules in keeping with the IKO standards.
