The Romanian Kiting School follows all the standards as specified by IKO - International Kiteboarding Organisation - to insure the safe training and performing of this sport. Kiteboarding is open for all ages and for everyone even without prior experience with water sports. The kiteboarding equipment is supplied by our school through all the training stages.

This course is an introduction in the basic principles of flying the kite, elementary notions about wind and its effects, weather, learning the equipment, safety issues. The course takes place on the beach, flying a training kite with low power. After the course you will be able to have/you shall have a clearer picture about this sport and it shall help you make your decision for further levels of the course.

After completing this course you will be able to perform "water start" and ride the board on short distances, you will learn how to launch and land the kite, how to relaunch the kite from water "water relaunch", how to save yourself in emergency cases "self rescue", how to recover the board in case of losing it. At this level you will have enough skills to control both the kite and the board, posing no danger to the public and training safely. Good luck!
